We have a range of services throughout the month. Everyone is welcome.
Children are most welcome to all the services and we have bags and colouring to keep them entertained. Please ask a church warden for one.
1st Sunday of the month - Family Communion 11am
2nd Sunday of the month - No service
3rd Sunday of the month - Parish Eucharist 11am
4th Sunday of the month - Celtic Worship 11am
5th Sunday of the month - Benefice service at one of the Benefice churches
Description of Services
A relaxed service for all the family, lasting approximately 1 hour. Includes hymns, bible readings, the gospel, a fun sermon and taking of communion. Complimentary refreshments served after the service.
This service includes hymns, bible readings, the gospel, a sermon and the taking of communion. It is most suitable for older children and adults and lasts approximately 1 hour.
This is a relaxed, informal, family friendly service which takes place in the crossing space of the church. It includes hymns and bible readings.
Celtic Morning Worship offers a short Reflection, rather than a traditional Sermon, followed by a chance to sit quietly for a few moments to think and pray. Children are offered active roles within the service and it lasts approximately 40 minutes. Refreshments are served before the service at 10.30am.
Weddings and Baptisms
St Barnabas Church is a stunning location for a wedding or Baptism.
With seating for around 200 guests, a large car park and toilet facilities we can cater for your guests needs.
